Mariposa Consulting connects government agencies with the communities their projects impact. We design and deliver outreach strategies grounded in culture, language, and trust for California's most significant infrastructure and public health initiatives.
Ana Cubas founded Mariposa Consulting on a core belief: meaningful community engagement is not a compliance checkbox. It is the foundation of equitable public infrastructure.
A first generation immigrant from El Salvador, Ana brings over two decades of leadership across government, public affairs, urban planning, and sustainability. She served as Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for the Los Angeles City Council, worked as a federal monitor for the U.S. Department of Education, and has been appointed three times by the Governor of California to state commissions.
Today, Mariposa's team builds outreach strategies rooted in the real experiences of the communities that California's infrastructure projects are designed to serve.
